My Demon: Is it worth watching?

Filled with a mixture of humor, romance, mystery and fantasy, this drama is perfect to keep you craving for more episodes and leaving with nostalgia in the end. Instead of being a stereotypical cold, mysterious and having a dark air of demon, Jeong Gu Won played by Song Kang is witty, humorous, , cute ...overall a lovely character. He gets his power from his tattoo which mysteriously gets transfer to Do Do-Hee.

The story centers around a power struggle of a Mirage empire whose chairman Joo Cheon sook played by Kim Hae Sook adopted Do Do-Hee after her parent's death which is a mystery in itself.
Do Do-Hee played by Kim Yoo-jung  is a steady, graceful and a beautiful character.

My favorite however were Shin Da Jeong [Do Hee’s secretary] and Park Bok Kyu. Their occasional, playful banter and small scenes added a bit of humor and made the heavy scenes lighthearted and overall, more fun to watch. I felt that without them this drama would be a bit incomplete for me. I would feel that there is something lacking.

This drama had multiple small stories going on which make the plot even more engaging. The main story was of course of a demon trying to figure out ways of getting his tattoo back from Do Do- Hee while protecting her from a mysterious person who is trying to kill her. During thin quest, they both ends up falling in love.

I felt sympathy for Noh Do Kyung played by Kang Seung Ho. He proved that villains are not born but made. In his case, it was his parents who made him the villain.

Overall, I felt that this drama is worth watching.... the plot is amazing, the chemistry between the leads and side characters are amazing and the plot twist that will keep you hooked at the end of each episode and by the end you'll definitely crave for more such dramas.

This show is currently being aired on Netflix.
